Each rescue group holds independent
adoptions at different locations (see below), so be sure to visit the correct adoption site
for the rescue group that has the pet you're interested in.
However, please realize that not all of the foster pets can always be accommodated
at each of our adoptions, so if you see an pet in whom you are especially
interested, submit an online application (located next to the picture of the pet) prior to coming to an adoption.
Even in the absence of
adoption days, you may still apply for and visit any animal you are
interested in! Our pets are all in foster care and individual interviews
can always be arranged. Just fill out the online application by clicking on the contact information next to each pet's picture and someone will contact you to set up an appointment.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You might
not leave the adoption with the animal you want that day. Some of the rescue groups may require vet checks, reference checks, etc. that will have to be completed prior to taking home your new pet.
We want you to know that
these animals are not going to be killed if you don't take them. Once they
are in our hands, they are safe and they live in our homes until they are
adopted. It's the life of the one that we can take in (when you adopt and
open up a space for us) that you are saving.

Special Adoption Events for Fulton County Animal Shelter:

Canine Good Citizenship Classes (Morrisa Zimmeth,
Instructor)
R107 Spalding, Spalding Corners Center
Classes run 8 weeks. Tuesday evenings starting at 7:00PM. Fee-$125.00
for complete course. Maximum class size is 8-10.
